William Dallas Stewart, 81 of Somerset, passed from this life unexpectedly on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.
He was born on January 18,1944 in Somerset, Kentucky, so of the late Siduel Murriel and Georgia Christine Ping Stewart. After graduating high school, William became an accomplished automobile mechanic and won the friendship of many. He was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Denham Street Baptist Church. William had a strong relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was enthusiastic about sharing with others. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed restoring cars and playing the guitar. William was a kind-hearted, generous and fun-loving man who will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him..
He leaves behind to cherish his memory a very special friend; Becky Baker of Somerset, two sons; William Brian Stewart, of Yorktown, Indiana and Brent Allen Stewart of Greens Fork, Indiana, a daughter; Tammy Dawn Howlett of Hagerstown, Indiana, a step-daughter; Roxanna Johnson of Fredericktown, Missouri, two sisters; Brenda Bolin and Wilma Stewart both of New Castle, Indiana as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is being planned for a later date and will be announced soon. You may offer condolences and sign the Online Tribute Book at www.somersetundertaking.com.
