Yolanda Montelongo Obituary
COLUMBUS -- Yolanda (Varela) Montelongo, 74, of Columbus, formerly Weston, passed away on June 23rd, 2025. She was born on August 28th, 1950 to Mary and Esequiel Varela.
She was preceded in death by her husband Constantino, her father Esequiel, her mother Mary, her sister Rafaela and her brother Esequiel Jr.
Yolanda was a dedicated homemaker who cherished her family and enjoyed playing softball and bowling. She loved the Detroit Tigers, Lions and Ohio State sports. She loved Tejano music and Christmas was her favorite holiday. She had an infectious laugh and lived her life with joy and love every day.
Yolanda will be deeply missed by her children Constantino, Aaron (Brittaini), Damien and Tiffany (Andrew); Grandchildren Santiago, Adelina, Cayo, Ira and Evelyn as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service celebrating Yolanda's life will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025 at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 North High Street, Worthington. Her family will receive friends from 1pm until the time of service.
