Kenneth Johnson Obituary

KENNETH CRAIG JOHNSON Kenneth Craig Johnson was born June 23, 1941, in Big Spring, Texas to C. E. and Dorothy (Coleman) Johnson. He graduated from Big Spring High School in 1959. He attended San Angelo College for one year, then transferred to Texas Tech University, graduating in 1964. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity.  Ken's career was in sales and marketing spending 30 years with Bristol Myers-Squibb as a sales representative, retiring in 2000.  Ken and Cathy married in 1976 and were married for 48 years.  Ken was on the board of the Mineral Wells Senior Center. He was also active in Palo Pinto County Rodeo for several years.  Those who have gone before Ken, are his parents, brother Charles Johnson and his wife Barbara, many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Survivors include his wife, Cathy, daughters Lori Johnson, and Wendi Johnson, son Kenneth C. Johnson, Jr. (Casey), stepson Marc Langley and wife Nicole, stepson Ken Langley, granddaughter Lauren Hill, great-granddaughter Lana Peterson, great-grandson Lynx Johnson, step-grandchildren Evie and Cami Langley, step grand-daughter Helen Hammonds and husband Hayden and step great grandson Henry Hammonds, nephew Craig Johnson and niece Jill Schmitz, great nieces Marissa, Sarah and Reyna Johnson, cousins Kay Finnerty, Lisa Finnerty, Bobby Coleman, John Pike, Ashley Villareal and Jennifer Johnson.  A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on April 26, 2025, at Central Methodist Church in Mineral Wells, Texas.
