Carl Luther Wells

Carl Luther Wells went home to our Heavenly Father, Tuesday, June 3, in his home with his wife by his side. Carl was born in Corinth, N.Y. on September 5, 1942 to the late Julia Croissant Wells and Luther J. Wells.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Adrian Wells, and his sister, Ruth Wells Hull. He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne (Bonnie) Smith Wells; sons, Christopher and Kayle Wells; grandson, Korben V. Wells; granddaughters, Lyhra Slatton and Bethany L. Wells; great-granddaughters, Olivia and Koura Collins; and a sister, Gail Wells Suddard of Glens Falls, N.Y.

Carl was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Throughout the years he had fulfilled various callings and loved assisting the missionaries. He was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 716, of Houston, Texas. He worked on several commercial and industrial sites including the South Texas Powerhouse (STP) in Matagorda, Texas, The NASA Space Center in Clear Lake, Texas, and his personal favorite being various casinos in Las Vegas, Nev.

In early years, Carl enjoyed hunting and fishing with his father. In recent years he loved being with his grand and great grandchildren. He also enjoyed site-seeing with his loving wife and of course riding his favorite Harley motorcycle.

Carl lived a long and prosperous life, he will be remembered as a loving husband and father. A proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a kind and loving man and will be greatly missed by his family.
