Richard Williams, Obituary

Richard A."Rich" Williams, 51, of St. Marys, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

He was born on December 31, 1973 in Saint Marys, PA, a son of the late Kenneth "Buz" Williams and Helen Vogt Williams, who survives.

On September 15, 2012, in Queen of the World Church, he married the love of his life, Kelly Kronenwetter Williams, who survives. Together they shared more than 12 years of love, laughter, and happiness.

Rich was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School and then received his degree from Jeff Tech for tool and die making. He was employed by Elk County Tool and Die for a number of years. Rich was a member of many clubs in the area, including the PFL, FOE 536 Eagles Club, Camp Owners, and the American Legion. He always looked forward to the Wednesday night Card Club at Sacred Heart Church, and the camaraderie of the friendships he made over the years. Rich was a lover of the outdoors, and could often be found hunting, fishing, cooking out on the grill, and spending time at Butternut Camp. Rich was an avid Steelers fan, and never turned down the chance to cheer on his favorite team. Most of all, Rich enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, Kelly, and his mother, Helen, he is survived by his beloved daughter; Amanda Williams, PharmD, of Johnsonburg. He is also survived by five brothers; Wayne (Susan) Williams, Ken (Kim) Williams, Fran (Jane) Williams, Jim (Sharon) Williams, and Mark (Tracy) Williams, all of St. Marys, and by two sisters; Elaine Williams and Mary Beth Williams, both of St. Marys, as well as by numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Carl.

In addition to his father, Kenneth, Rich was preceded in death by a sister; Lorraine Williams, and by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Richard A. "Rich" Williams will be celebrated on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Queen of the World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Father Jeffery Noble, Pastor, as celebrant.
