María Eloísa Delgado, de 102 años, residente de Tracy, California, falleció en paz el Viernes Santo, 18 de abril de 2025, rodeada del amor de su familia. Nació el 30 de enero de 1923 en el Rancho de Juantón, Zacatecas, México. María fue una esposa, madre, abuela, bisabuela y tatarabuela devota. Reconocida por su fortaleza, fe profunda y espíritu generoso, dedicó su vida a su familia y a su comunidad. Siempre eligió el amor. Le sobreviven sus hijas Guadalupe Delgado, Otilia Salinas y Libier Ramírez; su hijo Rubén Ávila; así como numerosos nietos, bisnietos y tataranietos. Le precedieron en fallecimiento sus padres, Juan Delgado y Margarita Covarrubias, y todos sus hermanos, con la excepción de su hermano Refugio Delgado, quien aún vive. She was born on January 30, 1923, in Rancho de Juantón, Zacatecas, Mexico. María was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Known for her strength, deep faith, and generous spirit, she dedicated her life to her family and her community. She always chose love. She is survived by her daughters, Guadalupe Delgado, Otilia Salinas, and Libier Ramirez; her son, Ruben Avila; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Delgado and Margarita Covarrubias, and all of her siblings, except her surviving brother, Refugio Delgado. A funeral service will be held on May 16, 2025, beginning at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Tracy Public Cemetery District.
