Miguel Cruz Obituary
Miguel Pablo Cruz was born on October 1, 1956 and passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on November 6, 2024. Miguel is survived by his wife of 38 years Maria, his children Salvador and wife Gardenia, Jennifer and husband John, Randy and wife Rosa, Miguel Jr. and wife Lauren and Jonathan, and his beloved grandchildren Kayleigh, Emily, Jacob, Madison, Brianna, Roman and Vida.
Miguel was born in Oaxaca, Mexico and was the eldest of his siblings, Fidel, Ana and Wences. As the eldest, Miguel had to grow up fast and at the young age of 10 he moved to the Mexico City to begin working and in search of a better life. At the age of 15, he was ready for a new adventure and immigrated to the United States. Miguel lived in Los Angeles for many years and endured many hardships in his younger years. Miguel eventually made his way to San Jose in the early 1980s. It is here where he met his wife Maria and they married in 1987. Miguel and Maria then expanded their family. Miguel was a devoted family man and worked tirelessly to provide for them. In his earlier years Miguel worked in construction, but later transitioned to the auto industry which he retired from.
Miguel had a passion for gardening, fishing, home improvement projects and travel. Miguel was a handyman by nature and could fix anything. Miguel loved teaching other these skills, especially his sons. Miguels greatest joy came from being a grandfather, he truly was the best. After retiring, Miguel spent much time with his grandchildren taking them fishing, on ice cream runs, going to school functions, watching games and creating countless memories.
Miguel was a devout Christian, dedicated to serving the Lord and his community. Miguel was a Pastor of Iglesia de Dios Pentecostal in Tracy for many years. Miguels faith was central in his life, shaping his outlook on life, resilience and love for others. Miguel was known for his kindness and willingness to help anyone in need. Miguel will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, faith and hard work will live on through his family.
Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 South Central Avenue, in Tracy is honored to serve the Pablo Cruz family. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18th from 10:00 12:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 12:00 p.m. Miguel will be laid to rest at Valpico Memorial Park following the Chapel Service.
