Dorothy Taylor Obituary
Ms. Taylor, 76 of Henrico, Va. transitioned at St. Mary's Hospital on Monday, July 14, 2025. Dorothy was born in Goochland, Va. She was the daughter of Frank G. Taylor and Edna Iola Jackson Taylor. Left to cherish her memory are her five brothers, Andrew, John, Richard, Freddie (Frances) and Thomas (Rose) Taylor; two sisters, Theresa and Joyce Taylor and a host of nieces, and other family and close friends.
Her remains rest at the Robert Mealy Funeral Home, Goochland, Va. where a viewing will be held from 1 to 7 p.m., on Thursday, July 24, 2025. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025 at Jerusalem Baptist Church, 994 Three Chopt Rd., Manakin-Sabot, Va. 23103.

We are so sorry for your loss. Dorothy was a faithful member of Jerusalem Silver Warriors Cafe and attended weekly. She was soft spoken and an engaged member of our program and church. We all loved her dearly. We are sending our prayers and condolences to her siblings and a special prayer for her niece Annette who took such awesome care of Dorothy. Our prayers will continue to be with your family.
