One of the many things I remember about Rob, is that he was unable to be anywhere on time. Thus, his nickname, Half-hour Moore if I´m not mistaken I think he was told that his wedding was in half an hour earlier, so he´d be on time. Ask my cousin Susan said the three of us were great friends for a long time. I think we met in 1970. Jeanine, I´m so sorry for your loss

Sad news indeed yet Rob leaves a wonderful legacy behind for all of us audio enthusiasts in central Virginia to enjoy, The Audio Exchange. I first met Rob when he opened The Audio Exchange in 1978, back when I worked for Pioneer Electronics. From day one, Rob became a respected business associate and, more importantly, a lifelong cherished friend. Rob was always in a good mood when I dropped by the store and enjoyed reminiscing about past, shared stories regarding not only the audio industry but life as well. He was a very fine, honorable human being who I looked up to. Honest to a fault and an astute businessman, he's gone too soon which is very sad but, all that knew him will have fond memories to enjoy and share.

I grew up with Robert/Robin. Lived across the street on Prince Edward. Our high school times were wild. His love for fast cars will not be forgotten. I lost contact with him over the years, but often thought of him and the times we had together. Condolences sent to his family.

Oh, Robin. My heart aches to know you have passed. You were my first friend; living just blocks away on Prince Edward Street. You were always so kind and my years, age 0-5, were richer because you were a big part of my life. I am SO thankful my sister got us together this summer to catch up, however I will miss our promise to get back together for more reminiscence. Oh, the stories and memories we shared about our parents, Hotsy and Mary Francis and Warren and Jinxie, and their antics! And the first time I ever got into real trouble was when I decided at age 2 to walk alone the 4 blocks down Prince Edward Street to play with you. But that spanking was worth it. We had such fun! May you rest in peace and thrive in God´s unconditional love until we meet again. To your family, my deepest sympathy to each of you. Robin was so proud of you and beamed when talking about you. Thank you for being the loving highlight in life for my first friend.
Love,

My cousin Kathy and I knew and loved Rob for many years and can attest to his kindness and generosity. We were quite a trio during our early twenties, something of a golden time for many of us, during which Rob was unfailingly patient and could withstand all manner of our silliness and occasional close calls. Many years later Rob and Janine were at my wedding in Boston at which we found out afterwards Janine was pregnant with her first child. I know we both send our condolences to Janine and his family. He was a good man.

I am so sorry to hear of Robins passing. His parents, my godparents, " Hotsy" and Mary Frances were fixtures in Fredericksburg always promoting the town where Hotsy is on the Wall of Honor. Our families enjoyed many good times in the 50s and 60s keeping us kids busy in multiple organizations. Later Mary Frances married Freeman Funk who secured acres of waterfront property on the Rappahannock River for the city. Robin continued in their footsteps leaving the world a better place. My condolences to the family.

I was fortunate to have shared his parents "Hotsy" and Mary Frances as they were my Godparents. The Moore family was so active in Fredericksburg keeping us all busy during the 50s & 60s. Our families enjoyed many good times together in Fredericksburg growing up. Mary Frances later married Freeman Funk who continued promoting our town. Robin followed in their footsteps leaving the world a better place.
