James Robinson Jr.

James H. Robinson, Sr., 94, of Jeannette, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, in the Hempfield Manor, Greensburg. He was born Oct. 1, 1930, in Fairchance, PA, the son of the late James and Josephine (Jones) Robinson. Prior to his retirement, Jim was a glass cutter for the former St. Gobain Glass Co. in Jeannette. He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served with the U.S. Air Force. Jim was a member of the former First United Methodist Church in Jeannette. He was a 60-year Mason and a member of the Masonic Lodge #750 in Jeannette. In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his wife, Rae Ellen Stouffer Robinson in 1990; a son, James H. Robinson, Jr.; and a sister, JoAnn 'Sissy' Komives. He is survived by his daughters, Rae Ellen Nichols of Charles Town, WV, and Jill Robinson of Jeannette; grandchildren, David Nichols (Taylor) and Rachelle Hill; and several nieces and nephews. As per Jim's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Funeral service and interment in the Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont, were private. The JOHN V.
