Cleo Micek Obituary
SNOHOMISH, Wash. - Cleo J. Micek, 77, of Snohomish, formerly of Kearney, Neb., died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, in Snohomish.
Services will be at noon Friday at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Bothell.
Rosary will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church.
She was born May 23, 1934, in Kearney to Judson and Ruby Hall.
She married Thomas Micek.
Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years; daughters, Pam Micek, Cynthia Caffrey and her husband, Ron, Kathleen Edwards and her husband, Robb, Linda Estrada and her husband, Bruce, Tracy Beamish and her husband, Tim, and Carolyn Fielding; sister-in-law, Joan Weyhmiller and her husband, Tom; 20 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her mother, Ruby, was the manager of Jarold Dress Shop in Kearney.
Cleo loved to read, cook, shop, decorate for Christmas and do crafts. She enjoyed family gatherings and being active in Catholic Daughter activities.
She was a loving wife, mom, grandma and great-grandma. She loved her family, her hats and making chocolate chip cookies. Her favorite pastime was going on trips with her husband when he would drive the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile around.
A reception will follow services.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Michael Caffrey.
Memorials are suggested to the Catholic Daughters.

Although I have never met any of Cleo June's immediate family, she is my cousin and I do remember her parents Jud and Ruby. My mother loved to get Cleo's Christmas cards every year and will miss them. My prayers go out to her family. Edna Eagle (Grayce Brown's daughter).
