My sweet precious angel, my darling Layla Jane. Though it's been a while since the last entry here, not a single solitary second has ever passed by without thoughts of you and aching in my broken heart.
I strive to do anything I can to honour you and ensure that everyone remembers how very special you are.
You are an inspiration to us all and I am so very proud to be your Mommy - and I will be your Mommy forever, sweetheart. Nothing and no-one could ever change that.
I only wish I could make it all ok for you and hold you in my arms again.
There are simply no words to describe that longing or the love I will always have for you.

Laylaaa, you was very young when you died. When i heard all about i broken down into tears. I Loved the way you used to come into school with your Mum when you used to finish your day of school and you used to write on her white board and Me and you used laugh at each other. Our beautiful angel, Layla Jane.
Sweetheart it's impossible to comprehend how two years could have passed.
Whilst it seems like yesterday we enjoyed your sweet voice and wonderful laughter, it seems an eternity since we were able to hold you in our arms and tell you how very much we love you.
Each and every day without you continues to be harder than the day before as we miss you more and more.
The sunshine really has gone from our summers now. We would do anything to make things right for you though no words can really express how much we love and miss you.
We love you with every piece of our broken hearts, more than all the tears we cry, more than the world.

We are so sorry that we could not write something in your special book yesterday, on the first anniversary of you leaving us, but it was just too hard.
Nanna and Grandpa miss you so very, very much every single day, but is so hard to accept that one whole year has passed since you went away. Your smile, your face, the way you walked, danced and played is so clear in our memory, that it's as if it was only minutes ago that you were here. I am trying not to be sad or angry, on today, the anniversary of the saddest day of my life - and instead remember the lovely things about you that makes me miss you so much today.

Sweetheart, it is so hard to believe it has been a whole year since you were taken from us.
They say time heals but they are wrong. Every second feels like a lifetime and with each and every second we miss you more and more.

It was Nanna's birthday this week, and oh, how I missed you not being here with me.

Layla went to school with my daughter Hannah when they were both at Aqueduct Primary School. I remember Layla as a beautiful friendly girl who was a good friend to my daughter in the time they were at school together.
