Marilyn Pritchett Kimball, 83 of Millcreek, UT died September 13, 2016 from natural causes. Marilyn was born to Bryant and Christine Rossiter October 11, 1932 in Ogden, Utah. She was the second of three children. She graduated from South High and LDS Business College. She married William C Pritchett in 1951 in Salt Lake Temple. Together they had 5 children. Later divorced. She raised all five children as a single mother. Marilyn began and finished her career at Salt Lake County Water Conservancy District. For many years she taught thousands of school children across the state the importance of conserving water. Marilyn married Wayne Kimball in the Salt Lake Temple on September 12, 1986 and had 23 years of a wonderful marriage. Together they served an LDS mission in Longview, Texas. They traveled and enjoyed dinner group, theatre, symphonies, and University of Utah Basketball. Marilyn was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. Many fun times were had around campfires, at the beach and on family outings.
Marilyn was survived by her brother, Bryant Rossiter (Betty), Sister, Charlotte Evans, Five Children; Chris Rawlins (John), David Pritchett (Becky), Scott Pritchett (Sheri), Craig Pritchett, Mark Pritchett (Traci), 22 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Marilyn had the honor and privilege of being stepmother to Claudia Miles (Joe), Cynthia Call (Terry) and Todd Kimball (Robyn), along with being grandmother to 14 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sweetheart Wayne, her parents, and her grandsons Ian Pritchett and Mikey Gee.
Services will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Holladay 26th Ward on 4601 S Chapel Street (2565 East) Holladay, UT 84117.Friends and Family may visit on Monday evening September 19, 2016 at the Larkin Sunset Lawn on 2350 E. 1300 S, Salt Lake City from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and from 9:30 - 10:45 AM at the ward prior to the service.
