Died peacefully in his sleep, 87 years old, at his retirement residence, Tower of Port Hope, Ontario. John had lived there for several months; he had come in the spring from Elliot Lake to be near family (cousin Anne & Brian Mulvaney) in Cobourg. He was the son of the late John R. Leslie and the late Cecile Barry Leslie. He was brother to Suzanne Leslie Miller (deceased), and to William Murray Leslie (Jennie) of Leland, North Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at a later date.
