Sadly we announce the passing of Dorothy on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at the age of 80, due to multiple complications. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 59 years, Richard; her four children: Rick (Pam), Cheryl (Chris) Pilliteri, Charles (Rosemarie), and Donna Green; along with 3 grandchildren: twins Megan and Nicholas, and Kaitlin, who Dorothy raised from the age of 6. Dorothy is survived by three siblings: Veronica (Art) Gaudet, Penny (Toni) Vandermas and Nick St. Pierre. Predeceased by her parents Wally and Marie St. Pierre.
Dorothy was born in New Brunswick and moved to St. Catharines at a young age, only to take residency in Western Hill. She worked at the TD Bank and after her children grew up she managed Lewiscraft (Pen Centre), Second Fiddle before moving to White Rose. When the kids grew older she went back to school to become a teller at Meridian Credit Union where she retired from. Later she would volunteer at the Shaver Hospital where she ran the coffee shop for 10 years.
She was loved by all the people she worked with and those who worked for her. May she rest in peace.
In keeping with Dorothy's wishes, cremation has taken place and was entrusted to Hulse & English Funeral Home & Chapel, 905-684-6346. There will be no formal services. If desired, memorial donations made to The Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated by the family. Online tributes and condolences may be made at
