David COWLS Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at his residence Sunnyside Home, Kitchener in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Doris (Viau) Cowls who predeceased him September 28, 2009. Loving father of Christine & husband Jeff Moores of Kitchener. Sadly missed by his granddaughters Jillian and Audrey. Survived by his brother Bill & Sylvia Cowls of Scarborough and by his sister Suzanne & Cameron Kitchen of Waterloo. Predeceased by his parents William J. & Phyllis (Campbell) Cowls,by his son Marc David Cowls (1972) and by his brother John. Relatives and friends will be received in the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 5-8 p.m. Interment will take place later in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. In lieu of flowers, donations to Harmonize 4 Speech or Crohn's & Colitis Canada would be appreciated by the family.

I grew up listening to Dave singing in with my dad and the harmonizers in our living room. Sometimes I would curse them because I couldn´t hear the tv. As I got a little older there was less cursing and more listening and I really grew to enjoy the singing. You became a part of our family and we have many fond memories. We love You Dave, tell Doris we love her too.
