I will always remember Chuck (or Mr. Bennett, as he was known to my son, Alex) as a great neighbour, avid gardener and always had a wave and a smile. My thoughts are with you, Dot.

Dear Dot and family,
Our thoughts are with you in this difficult time. We have witness the love and care you had for Chuck and he is going to be missed. We will be around for whatever you need. Don't hesitate to call or come for help.
Once things settle down a little we will come by for a visit.
We have lots of stories to share about Chuck and how he soon became part of our lives. We will miss his presence.
May peace be with you.
With love and kindness,

To Dot and Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you, I remember the first time I met Chuck, I was working next door, and he was puttering around in his garden, we had quite the conversation about couche grass and gardening. His love of gardening was evident in the way his yard looked. In the short time that I knew him, he kinda grew on me. He was book of knowledge when it came to gardening.
I believe that god moves people in and out of others lifes, and each makes his mark on the other.
You find you are made up of bits and pieces of all who ever touched your life, and you are more because of it, and you would be less if they had not touched your life.
Take care of yourselves, and each other at this most difficult time.

Just read about Chuck's passing and it was a big shock, he was such a great guy and were very proud to have Dot and Chuck on our bowling team for a number of years. We enjoyed being around him and he always had a smile for you. He will be sadly missed.
