From what i have read Bill was a wonderful man, friend and father. Our heavenly father will remember him always. Jesus came to give us hope for the future so have no fear. His Father gave him the power to resurrect those that have fallen asleep in death. Luke 8:50-56

I am proud to see the heroics and bravery of this whole family. I am a Stanford fan and read into this story when it appeared. When asked for a modern day hero, I named the four boys, especially Willy jr., who acted impressively on the day and in the way they recovered. God bless, and go Cardinal!

I believe I knew Bill Phillips from 20+ years ago from his involvment in the boy scouts. If it is the same person then im sad to hear about this. Best wishes to the family.
