Angela Dixiano Obituary

Angela was born on Jan.9, 1966 in Wenatchee, WA at Deaconess Hospital.

She is survived by her mother, Kathy Neal, Electric City, WA and her great aunt Delois Metcalf, Carmichael, CA.

She is preceded in death by her father, Doyle Neal; her grandparents, Doye and Katherine Neal, and her uncle Jim Neal, all of Electric City

Angela will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends, as she touched many people with her kind heart and flamboyant personality. She traveled to Alaska in search of an adventure and started working on commercial fishing boats as a cook in Dutch Harbor. She also enjoyed baking at a local Bakery where she made the best homemade cinnamon rolls. You know the kind that you have to split with someone because no one could finish it alone.

She enjoyed cruising, taking tropical vacations, retail therapy, eating sushi and prime rib, dolphins, and Baking! Yep! She was a gal that knew that baked goods were supposed to come out of the oven looooong before the smoke alarm went off! One of her famous dishes was her homemade macaroni and cheese in which the secret ingredient contained red bell peppers and the use of a crock pot, slow cooked to perfection.

Angela did have a truly wicked' sense of humor! Angela could see the good in any situation. Delightful when she would laugh at things that you aren't supposed to laugh at, and then, include the rest of us to laugh harder because you're not supposed to find it funny! It is indeed ironic that she had a quirky obsession with dolphins and sushi:. I don't think that she ever put that particular coupling together:. Which we also found truly endearing.

Angela had a dream to one day swim with the dolphins and in 2009 her dream came true. Dolphin's symbolized, friendship, harmony, playfulness, gentleness, generosity, community and healing all characteristic which represented the Angela we all knew and loved. It is because of this, Angela's family and friends will be releasing her ashes to swim once again with the "Alaskan" dolphins, (beluga whales, orcas, and porpoises) she once loved.

A memorial has been scheduled for July 29th at 5:00 p.m. at the Point Woronzof viewing point.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you dote upon your children; that you tolerate someone difficult to tolerate; that you summon patience when there is no more to summon; that you turn to someone you love, right now, and tell them so.
