Harold J. Richardson

AGE: 81 • North Brunswick

Harold J. Richardson, 81, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at Willow Creek Rehabilitation and Care Center, Somerset, NJ. Born in Plains, Pa., he was the son of the late Harold J. and Doris Miller Richardson. He had lived in Kingston before moving to North Brunswick, NJ. He was a graduate of Kingston High School. Mr. Richardson was well known in Kingston, Pa where he was involved in school activities. The one place he also called home was Harveys Lake where he enjoyed many memorable days at the lake. Harold was a Supervisor of material control with The Wall Street Journal Dow Jones retiring ion 1992. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War, as was a member of The Trenton American Legion. He was also a member of Kingston Lodge #395 F & AM.

Surviving are a daughter, Dawn Sudano and her husband James, Skillman, NJ. A son Todd Richardson and his wife Lisa, Princeton, NJ. Grandchildren, Taylor and Brandon Richardson and Gavin and Cole Sudano.

Funeral will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at 11 am from the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Dr. William Lewis, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Greenwood Cemetery, Trucksville. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 Am until time of service. Donations in Mr. Richardson's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.

"Hank" was a great guy.. I knew him all through our high school years.. Loved watching him as he Strutted his stuff during Kingston's parades & Strutt he did... R.I.P Hank

Please acceot my deepest sympathy for "Hank" passing.. He & I were classmates & graduated together.. It's hard not to remember him Strutting down the streets of Kingston leading the band as drum major..' Hank was loved by all & I'm sure he loved in return He will be missed by his many friends, Ruth Snell Sabecky
