PETER G. KOLB
AGE: 72 FORKED RIVER
Peter G. Kolb, 72, of the Forked River section of Lacey, died Monday, May 24, 2010, at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He attended Pratt University for electrical engineering and retired in 2000 as Director of Facilities for the New York Times. He was an Air Force veteran, a member of the Forked River Old Guard, Central Jersey Rifle & Pistol Club, past treasurer of the Atlantic Saltwater Fly Rodders, Cape Atlantic Wood Turners DelVal Turners and a parishioner of the Church of St. Puis X.
Predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Geraldine (Capone) Kolb on April 17, 2010 just 37 days between them. Mr. Kolb is survived by his two beloved daughters, Christine Kines and Alexandra; his devoted son-in-law, John Kines; his twin sister, Barbara Donzella; his dedicated sister-in-law, Mary-Ann Capone; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, June 2 at the Church of St. Pius X, Forked River, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Committal Services will follow at Good Luck Cemetery. Layton's Home For Funerals, Forked River, Lacey Township, are in charge of arrangements.

Dear Ali,
My heart is breaking for you and your sister! I was so sad to read about your mom and unfortunately was not able to attend the services. Danielle just called me tonight to tell me about your dad. My heart sunk! I am so sorry for your family. Your father loved your mother too much to live without her. They are happy together although I'm sure missing you and your beautiful voice! I am so sorry I didn't make it to any of the services, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you!

Dear Ali and Family
I read that your Mom had passed away recently, and now your Father. Although many years have past since we've seen or spoken to eachother, I want you to know that my heart goes out to you and your family. I was just telling my kids the other day ironicaly about all of the cabbage patch dolls that you had. You're parents adored you, and were so proud of your talents . My prayers will be with you and your family.
