Family-Placed Death Notice
TERRY, Yvonne YVONNE MARIE TERRY (NEE BUSSAN) Yvonne Marie Terry (nee Bussan), 61, of Atlanta, died Monday, October 11, 2010 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Yvonne was born June 23, 1949 in Galena, Illinois and moved to Atlanta in 1990 with her dear husband of 22 years, Paul, who survives her. She was an active member of North Avenue Presbyterian Church. Yvonne enjoyed reading, gardening, going to the beach, volunteering in the church nursery and hunting down a great bargain. She was preceded in death by her parents; Norman and Gloria Bussan. Additional survivors include her Aunt, Helen Wieters, Galena, Ill., four siblings; John (Karen) Bussan, of Naperville.,Ill., Jeff (Georgia) Bussan, of Galena, Ill., Chris (Evelyn) Bussan, of Crystal Lake, Ill., and Sara (Joe) Pruner of Covington, Ga. Yvonne is also survived by many, many loving nieces and nephews and a multitude of loving friends. Family and friends are welcome to join a celebration of Yvonne's life at an open house being held on Saturday, October 16, 2010, starting at 3:00pm at the Terry home in Atlanta. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to your favorite charity. Arrangements by SouthCare Cremation Society and Memorial Centers in Marietta. (770) 420-5557.

Yvonne was a great friend and lady. She had a heart of gold, always willing to help and open her home to anyone in need. I will miss her smile and her loving spirit.

Paul and family, Yvonne was a continual blessing to all she met and willing to serve in any way possible. God was a blessing to her and always blessed though her. We will always cherish your friendship, her help and your christian fellowship. God be with you all.
