Family-Placed Death Notice
BEGLEY, Thomas, Sr. THOMAS ORLANDO BEGLEY, SR. Thomas Orlando Begley, Sr. of Suwanee, Georgia, transitioned from this life on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia. He was born in Memphis, Tennessee on December 31, 1931 to loving parents, Charles and Selena Begley. Thomas was the fifth of six children from this union. His siblings, Vernice, Charles, Irving, James and Leontine Marie all preceded him in death. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mrs. Nancy Begley; and their three children, sons, Thomas O. Begley, Jr. and his wife, Tracy, Edwin Begley, and his wife, Sharon and daughter, Leontine Begley. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Simone Begley and Thomas O. Begley, III; three nephews, Charles Begley, Jr., Irving Begley, Jr. and James Begley, Jr.; two nieces, Ruth Jane Davis and Gladys Rogers; three sisters-in-law, Juanita Williams, Charlene Moats and Kay Redman; a host of cousins, other relatives and beloved friends. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, November 9, 2012; 9:00AM at First Congressional Church of Atlanta, 105 Courtland St. Rev. Dr. Dwight D. Andrews, Sr., Pastor. Rev. Dr. Charlene Holmes, Eulogist. Remains in state 8:00AM. Family and friends are asked to assemble 8:45AM at the church. Interment Georgia National Cemetery. A wake service will be held this evening, 7:00-8:00PM at Willie A. Watkins Historic West End Chapel (404) 758-1731
