To Garry's parents,

I have never met you all but Garry was a friend of mine at Georgia Tech. You both did a wonderful job at parenting because your son was a warm, caring, humble, disciplined, focused, positive and hard working person. He obviously never changed from our days in college as he continued those same characteristics in his adult years as can be evidenced from the nice comments on the Earthlink site. My deepest sympathy is with you both and with his wife Kathy.

Gary's life is to be celebrated. Although it's been many years since we were in high school together at Columbus High, I will always remember Gary's smile. He's a guy that was fun to be around and used all of his talents to improve his mind and the world around him. God will be able to use someone like him in heaven.
I extend my sincere wishes for your comfort and peace during this time.
May God bless and protect your family.

Kathy,
We will never forget, the impact that Garry had on Rackley's life at the Georgia Tech football games.
Rackley is a freshman at Ga. Tech and has made the Deans list and we
contriblute that to Tom and Garry's
enthusiasm over the last 10 years,
in that they brain washed him as a young child with the love of the Ga.Tech Yellow Jackets and thank God they did. You and your family are in our thoughts and
prayers. We will miss Garry and his great personality, he alway made the Georgia Tech Game Fun with
him chanting (I love the yellow Jacket how about you).

To Garry's family - I send my deepest sympathy and my prayers. He was always a great friend during our time together at Columbus High. Even though I saw him infrequently over the years, I will always have the memory of his brilliance and leadership that was always so evident during high school.
