Jenica Shirley Obituary
with her family at her side. Jenica was born in Phoenix. She spent her early childhood in Chandler attending St. Mary Basha elementary school. Jenica, along with her family, returned to Buckeye in 95. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in 03 and finished up at ASU in 06. Jenica was a smart, loving, young woman who is absolutely unforgettable. She worked with several organizations in the medical community. She gave speeches about overcoming adversity as a child to become a successful adult. Jenica was deeply spiritual and served as a eucharistic minister at St. Thomas Aquinas. Everyone enjoyed her sense of humor and she loved a good laugh. She is survived by her sister and best friend Katie Garcia, her brother in law Ish Garcia, niece and god daughter Noelle Jenica Garcia, and her parents Roger and Mary. Rosary vigil will be Thursday December 14 at 7 pm, Funeral mass will be held Friday December 15 at 10 am, both will be held at St. Henrys Catholic Church, 128 S. 3rd Street in Buckeye. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to St. Mary Basha Catholic Elem entary School C/O Roger Shirley P.O. Box 1482, Buckeye, AZ 85326

Her life impacted me in so many ways....Her smile and laugh will never be forgotton. I have never seen such passion and love for life than Jenica possessed. She just simply lived every moment with everything she had. Jenica was just simply beautiful in everyway. I loved her and I will never forget our friendship....the good and the bad. Thank you Jen, for allowing me to say I was sorry for breaking your heart and for allowing our precious friendship to fade away. Never will I find someone like you....always ready for a laugh (I can still hear your giggle), I will never forget our stupid mini skirts, black shirts, and the famous rocket dogs, Dressing alike embarrassed us and made us closer. Thanks for always being real and for never backing down from the trials of life. I simple love you.

Only a very special family can raise a very special girl. God gave Jenica the most perfect family to raise her yet he never gives us more than we can handle. Mary, Roger, and Katie and Family,
What more can we say about a girl who makes us wrap up the fish head (her first catch)for her to take home to show her Dad, except that she must have had exceptional parents to teach her about the most important things in life. My Dear Mary,
Cannot tell you how saddened I was to learn about Jenica. I still see her as that beautiful little angel that Dr. Bans took care of and how she grew into such a lovely young lady. My heart goes out to all your family and please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. You, Katie, and Jenica, hold such dear memories in my life and I know that God is watching over all of you.
