Brother Clarence William, Jr., was born October 10, 1960, to the late Clarence William, Sr., and the late
Mary Hall Cushenberry in New Orleans, Louisiana. Clarence was baptized by the late Reverend Morris
Stephen at St. Paul Baptist Church in Gonzales, Louisiana, at an early age.
Clarence was employed with Poirrier Construction until his health prevented him from working. Clarence
was a jack of many trades, always holding a job.
Clarence departed this life at the home of his sister, Wendy, on November 18, 2023. He leaves to cherish
his memories: his loving sister, Wendy Cushenberry of Geismar, LA; one son of the heart; one step-
grandmother; seven uncles; nineteen aunts; eight grandkids; one godchild, Lekeitha Ellis; and a host of nieces,
nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Special thanks to Willie Turner, Inez and James Lomas, Jacquelyn Lewis, and Cheni Curry for being a
special friend and caregiver. Thanks to all family members for being our support system doing his time
of illness.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to the medical groups: Dr. S. Malur and staff and Pinnacle Hospice and
staff.
He never met a stranger. He was greatly loved and will be missed by many.
Clarence was preceded in death by his mother, Mary H. Cushenberry; stepfather, Mose Cushenberry;
father, Clarence Williams, Sr.; and a host of paternal grandparents and maternal grandparents.
