Kenneth McPheeters Obituary

COLUMBIA, SC – Kenneth Klein McPheeters, 84, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2018. A memorial service will be held to unite Ken with his beloved wife Jan this summer at First Presbyterian Church, Lake Forest, Illinois. Born in Beaver Falls, Pa., he was a son of the late Francis Dawson and Amanda Klein McPheeters. He retired as a co-owner of Chicago Metallic. Surviving are his son, Ken K. "Chip" McPheeters, II and wife Priscilla of Columbia; daughter, Cynthia Ann McPheeters of Del Ray Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, James C, McPheeters and Heather M. Lake; great grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth McPheeters and Virginia Lockwood McPheeters and sister, Kay Rager of Boardman, Ohio. Memorials may be made to the ASPCA, 121 Humane Lane, Columbia, SC 29209 or the National Kidney Foundation, 508 Hampton Street, Suite 200, Columbia, SC 29201. I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I was in LF for Mother's Day and saw the obituary in the Lake Forester. He was a good guy and I remember he attended many of our soccer games in high school.
