JEFFREY PHILLIP BROOKS

BROOKS, JEFFREY PHILLIP, joyfully joined the world of his loving parents, Donald Phillip and Kathleen Brooks, on February 12, 1978 in Miami, FL. Jeff spent his first six years of life as a younger brother and companion to his sister, Lisa Brooks Stefanoni (Luis Stefanoni), before the addition of their younger brother, Eric. Jeff's love for athletics and fishing became evident at an early age and carried throughout his childhood into his teenage years. He attended Miami Sunset Sr. High, where he expressed that passion by lettering in basketball and football. Jeff was well-loved by his high school cohorts and remained close with his friends after they parted ways in 1996. Jeff continued his education at WCU and UCF. As a young adult, Jeff developed an enthusiasm for surfing and spent many years perfecting his skill in beautiful oceans from Florida to Costa Rica. Jeff's enthusiasm for helping people shone brightly through his dedication to the hospitality and restaurant industry and his employees. When he wasn't working, Jeff enjoyed sporting events, concerts, and billiards. He cherished his visits with his two loving nieces Amanda and Natalie. His constant, compassionate and helping nature was apparent in his beaming smile and gentle spirit. Jeff passed peacefully in New York on Tuesday, February 18, 2014.
