William Michael, husband of 43 years to Shirley Shine (nee Lasita). Father of Tracy (Gary) Kumpf, Michelle (Doug) Koop, and Nicole (Scott) Dozois. Grandfather of Nick, Kaeli, Connor, Evan, Trent, Kelsie, Allie, Brady, Karlee, and Troy. Son of William E. and the late Bette Shine. Brother of five. Also survived by many other family members and friends. Preceded in death by his brother Gary Shine. William, a resident of Union Twp., was an accountant for 44 years and was active in St. Veronica Parish. He went to be with the Lord on March 25, 2014 at the age of 65. Visitation will be held at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home (Amelia) on Friday March 28, 2014 from 5-8PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St.Veronica Church on Saturday March 29, 2014 at 11:00AM.

Shirley and girls, We mostly knew Mike through school (all those years ago) and his work in accounting at the festival. In all that time, Mike was always cheerful and so very nice. He always kept his cool and thereby kept the rest of us calm. I, for one, very much appreciated his dedication and hard work. Each of you are well aware of the kind and thoughtful man Mike was.
