William WILSON Obituary

WILSON William R. "Bill', 73, of Otterbein-Lebanon Retirement Community, died Sunday, May 11, 2003. A graduate of Lebanon High School and U.S. Army Korean Conflict veteran, he retired in 1995 as Assistant Vice President of LCNB after 28 years of service. As an active member of the farming community, he was Past President of Southern OH. Holstein Assn., Warren Co. Dairy Service Unit, Lebanon Farmers Club, Future Farmers of America and Warren Co. 4-H Advisor's Council & Dairy Club and as Past Member of Lebanon Grange #1462 & Warren Co. Pomona Grange #45. He was active with the Lebanon United Methodist Church through their Men's Club and served on the Administrative Board and as Historian. Mr. Wilson supported the schools through his work with Holbrook PTA and LHS Athletic Boosters. Past Chairman of Cub Scout Pack #35 and Boy Scouts of America Troop #57, he was an adult scouter for 25 years. He volunteered with the Warren Co. Historical Society. Mr. Wilson was a member of Leanon Kiwanis and a Commissioned Kentucky Colonel in 1983. Mr. Wilson leaves his beloved wife of 44 years, Jane A. (nee Wones) Wilson, his dear mother, Felecia (nee Fawley) Wilson of Mason, four children, Bill E. Wilson of Lebanon, Bob Wilson (Tricia) of Loveland, Tari Maddox (Dave) of Lebanon and Ann Arnold (Barry) of Danville, KY., eight grandchildren, Kelli, Brad, Aly, Todd, Arin, Zane, Delaney and Corinne, and two sisters, Diane Hisey of Greenfield and Helen Voorhis (Al) of Mason. His father and fellow farmer, Elmo Wilson, preceded him. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 13th, 3:00 P.M. at Lebanon Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Warren Co. Historical Society Building Fund or donor's charity of choice. Arrangements by Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.
