AGE: 66 • New Castle
Ginger Lee Evans, age 66, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2015.
Born in Wilmington, DE on June 29, 1948, Ginger was one of ten children born to the late Chester Gingras and Dorothy (Greenfield) Gingras. She made her career as a line worker with General Motors, retiring after more then 20 years of service.
In addition to her parents, Ginger was preceded in death by her beloved son, Shawn Edward Lewis. She is survived by 4 loving sisters; and many friends.
A funeral service will be held at 7 pm on Friday evening, April 24, 2015, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 pm until 7 pm. Interment will be held privately in Silverbrook Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the New Castle Moose Family Center Lodge #1578, 621 S. DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE 19720.

Dearest Ginger snap, I will always treasure the times we had together, the laughs, the tears and the private conversations. You always had my back and I always had yours and that meant so much to me. You were a strong lady and a fighter, but in the end it was God who decided to call one of his Angels home. May you rest in peace now. My deepest condolences to her family.
