Bonnie, Barbara and I send our best to you and we know how much you will miss Wyane! As our neighbors for many years we enjoyed our interactions with the two of you. We experienced times of sorrow and happiness together. We will never forget those times. The two of you were very important people in the lives of our family. We hope you will always remember the words of "our" favorite peom "Foot Steps in the Sand". Everytime We see this we are reminded our times together. Wayne would always say when he came over to visit " I can't stay long". Rest assurred that He stayed long enought to impact our lives!

Thinking of your sweet family at this time. We loved seeing Wayne out and about in the neighborhood walking the dogs or helping with the Scouts. What a great example. He will truly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

Dear Bonnie,
In the four months since I have been at the Cancer Wellness House, I have become acquainted with many wonderful people. However, Wayne found a place in my heart the very first time I saw his smile and was touched by his gentle spirit. It wasn't too long ago when I helped Wayne up from a chair and we both smiled at the accomplishment, especially with our height difference! I am comforted knowing that Wayne is no longer sick and in pain. I believe that he is teaching the scouts in heaven. If Wayne wants a fishing buddy, he'll have beloved son. My son would be blessed to have him to learn from. Wayne is truly an example of strength and kindness and will be forever in our hearts. Love, Terri

Wayne and I were the thorns among the roses as he would say, at the Cancer Wellness House. I loved his positve attitude, inspiration and smile. He was a true fisherman and friend. I love him and will miss him.And Bonnie I love you for loving him. It was a pleasure to watch how the two of you acted like highschool sweethearts, he was and is a stud. Love always Ed

Wayne was one of the first people I met when I started my internship at the Cancer Wellness House, he welcomed me with open arms. My life was truly touched by his gentleness, his courage and his positive outlook at life. He arrived each week with a smile, gave hope to the others in group and sometimes had a little nap. I hope that happy memories will bring comfort to all who knew him and that we will someday meet again.

Our lives cannot be measured by how long we live, but by how we live and those we touch. Wayne, you brought a gentle calm and thoughtfulness to Reel Recovery that truly grounded all of us. We are indebted to your spirit.
All of us will carry you with us.

Bonnie & family,
I am sending love, hugs, and prayers to you. Precious and sweet Wayne is so very special; and,now he is healed, probably fishing :-)
I remember lightheartedly chatting together while walking down the steps at the CWH a few weeks ago after group, staying by his side and putting my arm out to make sure he didn't fall when he almost tripped. What a glorious smile he gave with his thanks! He has touched many many lives; I am one of them!
