I know Bernie though his work at Sutphen Corp. I cut and deliver the lacings to the ladder barn. Almost daily when I would make deliveries to Sutphen, Bernie would come out looking for lacing. I always told him he needed to slow down because he didn't give me time to make more. We had a chance to talk a couple of times and I found out just how important his family and dogs are to him. I love dogs too but mine won't let me dress them up. I just wanted you to know that it is not the same without Bernie at the barn. I am really happy I got to know him and I am keeping your family in my prayers.

Mamie:
The loss of a child is very hard no matter what age. You have all of your memories, your love, good times, bad times, grandchildren, and greats, where you see him, and you find the strength and carry on. Take care and I am sorry I did not make it to see you and say my thoughts in person.
