ELEANOR ERB Obituary
ELEANOR K. ERB, 85, passed away Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at Wood-view Health Care Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Payne, Ohio, she was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Surviving are her sons, John P (Judy) Erb III of Fort Wayne and Steven (Joanne) Erb of Hudson, Fla.; sister, Dorothy Walker of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, John "Duke" Erb Jr; two brothers; and three sisters. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Jude Catholic Church, 2130 Pemberton Drive, with calling one hour prior. Fr. Thomas Shoemaker officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, with a 7:30 p.m. Rosary. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne, Ind.
