My deepest sympathies. Bob was my supervising teacher at Kennedy Elementary in Dubuque. We were also fraternity brothers at University of Dubuque. He was very good to me AND i fondly remember him. A good teacher AND a great guy. Doug Stubbs

I last saw Bob over 50 years ago, when I was ~12 years old. He was my first football coach. I did make it to his wake and met two of his sons and one daughter - I told them that their Dad obviously made an impression on me ... that he was one of those who helped form who I am today. I recently moved to Woodstock - oh how I wish I knew the Coach was only a few miles away. Deepest condolences to his family.
