Claira started 8th grade yesterday and you would be so proud of her Tom. She is acting like a trooper but we all know you are watching over her.

Matt brought home a photo of he and Tom after a great day fishing for walleyes on Lake Michigan - what wonderful memories those two shared! Thank you, Lind family, for giving us that photo. Tom, I know you are smiling on us and egging Matt on to get out and fish...

Rest in Peace brother. I knew Tom through the DNR and through a case or two that we worked together. His smile, laugh and dedication to duty will be missed. Peace to his family,

I have much too many cherished memories to even list. It starts in Point, where I also am from. Tom followed me to the GBPD, where I'm happy to say we served proudly to the end of our career. Hunting and fishing together, with an assortment of crazy and memorable storys - Right Hard Body? We lived together for awhile in GB. Attended the same church - St. Mary's of the Angels. Reading the other comments about Tom carry a common thing about Tom - His smile that was attached to a Great personality. Rest in Peace my friend and May God Bless You.

Tommy worked at the PD with my husband. Every time he saw me, he had a smile on his face and his arms were open for a big hug. He will be missed!

We were blessed to have Tom as a wonderful friend to my husband Matt. Tom always brought a down to earth sense of humor and love of life that set him apart from most other people. I will always remember the hijinks he got Matt up to, and his soft snicker when he knew he was caught, or that Matt was going to get in trouble! He always told me that the best cops were the ones who were naughty kids, because they knew all the tricks. I suspect he was a very naughty kid.
We share in everyones sorrow to have lost such a good friend, parent, son.

I was fortunate to get to work with Tom at the Police Dept for many years. I always enjoyed his smiling face (actually he would have that cute little snicker all the time) He worked very hard and always treated people with respect. What a great guy! I have had some pretty good talks with Tom and know he loved his family with all his heart!
I so want to be at Tom's funeral but am out of state, (my watch dog and husband are there to guard the house)so I would like to pass along my, as well as my family's, sympathy to Tom's children, Vicki and his parents as well as other extended family and friends.
May God bless you Tom on your new journey and may he help your family find peace and comfort thoughout this difficult time as well as in days to come.

I remember first meeting Tom after being hired by the Green Bay Police Department back in 1996. He was very friendly to the "new guy".
Later, we shared a cramped aisle in the Detective Division. It was always great to talk fishing and hunting with Tom, and he taught me how to use down riggers.
Tom used to give me his copy of Wisconsin Outdoor News when he was done with it and we would have a laugh over the cuffs and collars section.
Tom worked a lot with Bob Haglund after Chuck Peterson retired, and Bob always called him "Pork Chop".
As a colleague, it was hard to watch Tom go through the ups and downs with the cancer. I can't imagine what it was like for Tom's family.
Tom, the world is a better place because you were in it. Peace and love to your family.

Tommy and I spent many great sunrises together in the duck marsh and the deer woods. I'm very proud to have spent my teen and young adult years with him. May God bless the loved ones he leaves behind!

I worked with Tom at GBPD. He was an excellent officer and friend. We shared one or two cocktails after work. He was a coach for a friends son in football and he truly enjoyed sports. Thanks for being my friend!!!!

Tom will be greatly missed by our family!
He has fought this battle for many years now and I pray that he is finally at peace. The legacy that he has left with Mitchell, Jordan and Claira says alot....WHAT incredible kids!! Peace be with you Tom and I hope you are enjoying that charter fishing boat in the skies of heaven right now!!

Tom was a good man who will be missed dearly. As a young man he wanted to be a police officer so badly and would follow calls on a scanner, it seems like only yesterday. I am proud to say I knew Tom.

Our condolences to the family. Tom was a great guy. He truly adored and was very proud of his children. The "basketball years" will never be forgotten. We were fortunate to have known him. He will be greatly missed.
