Joey Evan Schlosberg, 44 of Bradenton, FL passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015. He was born on November 14, 1970 in Brooklyn, NY to Lawrence and Lorraine Schlosberg. He graduated with a B.A. in 1992 from the State University of New York, Stony Brook University. In 1995 he graduated from the University of Florida with a J.D. He has been practicing law since 1997. In 2010 he joined Adams and Reese, LLP as partner of the St. Petersburg office.
Joey is survived by his loving wife, Kim, and two children, Lily and Luca, his mother, Lorraine and his sister, Debra, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Lawrence and brother, Steven. Joey most enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid baseball fan. Joey was a loving and loyal husband and father and will be missed by his family and friends.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015 at Temple Emanu-EL, 151 McIntosh Road, Sarasota FL. Burial to follow in Palms Memorial Park. Memorial donations may be made "In Memorium of Joey Schlosberg" to Kim Schlosberg, c/o Richmond C. Flowers, Esq., Adams and Reese LLP, 150 2nd Avenue North, Suite 1700, St. Petersburg, Florida 33701. Toale Brothers Funeral Homes, Colonial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

I did not know Joey nor do I know the family. Joey's passing has been on my mind since the day it happened and I just wanted to express my deepest condolences to Joey's friends and family.
