1947-2016
Andrew Louis Sepulveda Sr, 68 of Sugar Land, TX formally of Victoria, TX, was received in heaven on Saturday July 9th, 2016. He passed peacefully at home following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born in Victoria, November 29th, 1947. A graduate of Victoria High school, Andrew played drums in various Tejano bands. After High School he joined the Air Force and served honorably for four years. He was a Houston Police Officer for 22 years (retired ). While a police officer, he was a drummer in the Honor Guard. Andrew loved music, dancing, making bar-b-que, and watching TV. He was a loving ,caring father, son, grandfather, and husband. He is survived by his wife Angeles of 20 years, sister Lupita Garcia of Corpus Christi, Brother Javier Curbeira of Victoria. Son's Andrew Sepulveda Jr ( Ofelia), Rene Sepulveda (Lois) of Sugar Land, Analisa Sepulveda of Victoria. Stepsons Fernando Panales Espinoza (Patricia ) and Joel Panales Espinoza ( Iliana) both of Mexico City, Mexico.
He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Ellen Curbeira of Victoria, sisters Cynthia Kazemi and Gloria Alcala both of Houston TX. And Step father Manuel Curbeira of Victoria.
Andrew had 14 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs Charlie, Diego, and Felipe. He will be missed by all .
Visitation will held Wednesday, July 13th, 5:00-9:00pm with Tthe Rosary recited at 7pm at Sugar Land Mortuary, 1818 Eldridge, Sugar Land, TX
Funeral Mass with full Military and Police Honors will be Thursday at 10:00 am at St Theresa's Catholic Church, 705 St. Theresa Blvd. Sugar Land, TX
Pallbearers wil be Andrew Sepulveda Jr, Rene Sepulveda, Rene Sepulveda Jr, Joe Daniel Sepulveda, Manuel Garcia, and Paul Becerra
Honorary Pall bearers are Andrew Sepulveda lll, and Alexander Sepulveda
