Dear Uncle Paul,
Every time I see a cardinal in the yard I wonder if it is you coming to pay me a visit. There are many days my eyes swell up with tears whenever I think of the void that your passing has left in my life. I miss you every day.
Love,
Linda Amyette

My Uncle Paul was the best, he was so kind and considerate of a gentleman. I loved seeing and talking to him.. You could learn so much from him. He was more like a father to me. I miss him and love him with all my heart. I will see him one day again. Love Shelby

Mr. Hawkins, thank you for patiently teaching me and so many other students how to safely drive a vehicle. I will never forget your jokes and how it helped to ease the tension of being a new driver. (Class of 1976 - Camp Lejeune high school)

Almost 40 years ago M. Hawkins taught me how to drive at Lejeune High School. He was the sweetest most gentle man I had met. He use to let us drive to the beach just to make it more fun! I've never forgotten him! My sympathies to his family for their loss!

My brother and I were both were Drivers Ed students with Mr. Hawkins. What a calm and patient man. He is another good memory from good old CLHS. May he rest in peace.

50 years ago I sat behind the wheel in Drivers Ed class with Mr. Hawkins. He is, without a doubt, the kindest most patient man I've ever known. God has blessed us all because of you.
