I knew Jean-Paul through work at Verizon. I was so saddened to learn of his passing. He was always so warm, kind, soft-spoken and had a smile. It was always a joy to see and speak to him everyday. To Nancy I would like to say as I came to realize when my dear father passed, he is so within you. I know not in the physical but branded deep in the fibers and memory of you he will never be gone. I pray you find the comfort of that and take him with you always. I praise Jesus for that blessing! Deepest heartfelt sympathy to the family for your great loss.

Dad,
I am overwhelmed with sadness and I can't believe you are gone. I can't imagine never hearing your voice or laugh or even seeing your smile. I wish that I had gotten to tell you one last time that I love you! I wish I could hear you say you Love me! I want you to know that I think you are a very brave man to have fought for as long as you did! I believe it helped that you had Jill who was one of your biggest cheerleaders that fought tirelessly right beside you! You were loved Dad and you always will be. You will live in our hearts forever. I am glad that you are up in Heaven with Mom, she has been patiently waiting for you to dance! I love you with all my heart and I don't quite know if I will ever feel the same.

I want to thank god for my father in law, I know he will not be able to read this as he has gone to heaven to be with Mom. Dad gave me my amazing and caring wife and sister. I never got to thank Dad for his gift but I hope he knew. My favorite times with Dad where the rides we took to the ocean and we would get out and walk the cliffs. I will miss dad but I know Mom needed him home.
