Ms. Sandra Elaine "Sandy" Frye

Ms. Sandra Elaine (Hord) Frye, born on August 23, 1939 in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late Mary Frances Hinshaw Hord and the late Ambrose Roy Hord Sr, went to be with the Lord at age 79 on November 16, 2018 in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Sandra attended Harding High School in Charlotte, NC where she resided most of her life. In her earlier years, she was a hair stylist which allowed her to express her creativity. She was an artist who loved drawing and painting as well as being outside and going dancing (shagging to Carolina beach music was her favorite). Sandra was preceded in death by her three brothers, Roy Hord Jr, Robert Hord and Richard Hord. She is survived by her daughters, Michele Graynor Enersen and Allison Graynor Griffin; her son in laws, Greg Enersen and Craig Griffin; her grandson, Harrison Thomas Griffin; and many, many grand dogs. Friends and family will be gathering in celebration of her life on Saturday, December 15 in Charleston, SC.
