LUIS NODARSE Obituary

Luis A. Nodarse died on December 15, 2002 at his home in Harrison. He was 50. Mr. Nodarse worked in sales for many years before becoming disabled for Brown & Willimson, Coca Cola and the Dial Corporation. He was born July 4, 1952 in Havana, Cuba to Luis and Amelia Valdez Nodarse. He was educated in White Plains and graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School in 1970. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Education from Manhattan College in 1974. On August 8, 1974 he married Dawn Farrell at Resurrection Church in Rye, NY. Locally he was a parishioner of Resurrection Church, where he served as part time Sacrisant for several years. He also coached basketball and was a Lector at Resurrection. Mr. Nodarse's interests included ballroom dancing and he was past president of the Westchester County Bowling Association. He also umpired men's softball in New Rochelle for many years. He is survived by his wife Dawn, his two daughters Kate and Sarah, both of Harrison, his father Luis of White Plains, his mother-in-law Ann Farrell of Harrison, two nieces and one nephew. He was predeceased by his mother Amelia in 1993. Calling hours are Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Graham Funeral Home. The funeral is Thursday at 10am at Resurrection Church.
