Macon, GA- Willie Jordan, 70, passed Tuesday, October 6, 2015. Services are 2:00 PM Monday, October 12, 2015 at New Birth Baptist Church with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Willie was born in Macon to the late Willie Jordan, Sr. and Beatrice Mathis Jordan. "Brah" as he was affectionately called, received his education in the Bibb County School System, graduating from Ballard Hudson High School, Class of 1966. He worked for Rock-Tenn Mill Company in Macon for 38 years.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 45 years, Angela Spencer Jordan; son, Gamaliel J. Jordan (VeYonnis), Macon; eldest son, Garrett D. Jordan, Jacksonville, FL; sisters, Dorothy J. Crockett, Marian J. Thomas, Helen J. Curry (Roosevelt), Barbara J. Lowe (Rodney); brothers, Harold Sutton, John Wesley Jordan all of Macon, GA; two granddaughters, Teylur Kelly and Tiara Jordan both of Jacksonville, FL; one grandson, Giovanni J. Jordan, Macon and other relatives and friends.
