Nelson P. Bolton

Nelson P. Bolton of Quakertown passed away at home in the presence of his family on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. He was 92. He was predeceased by his loving wife Suzanne H. Bolton. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the oldest child of the late Wyman and Sophia Bolton. Nelson was a 1944 graduate of Central High School. Nelson was discharged from the Army in 1946 and went on to receive his Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1950. Through his life he was the owner of Artistic Glass Products, later named AGP Plastics located in Trumbauersville, Pennsylvania. Nelson actively managed the company up until his death. He was also a co-founder, active member and was on the board at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Allentown, PA. He was also an active member on the board of LifeQuest in Quakertown, PA from 1988 to 1999. Nelson was one of the original members of the Milford Trumbauersville Area Sewer Authority, for multiple years. Surviving are his children, Jonathan and wife, Deborah, of Quakertown, PA., Edwin and wife, Elizabeth, of Trumbauersville, PA., and Hester Bade and husband, Jeffrey, of Macungie, PA.; grandchildren, Jon L., Abigail, Arek, Karina, Brace, Isabelle, Marian, and Connor; and great-grandchildren, Emily, Megan, and Crider. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, August 24, at the Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Road, Quakertown. His memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 25, at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 2510 W. Livingston St., Allentown, PA 18104, where a visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the church. www.nauglefcs.com
