Not sure what to say?

Allan you now have a great friend with you, as my dad "Al Salo" passed away and has joined Allan. Hope they are together Hot Rodding the sky. You both are loved and missed and will NEVER be Forgotten!!!

I met Allan when I was 19 yrs old. I had moved to Thousand Oaks from New York with my parents.
Allan rented out a room in his home to me.
I learned a lot from this big teddy bear of a man.
We were both Popcorn lovers, old car lovers, music lovers.
I remember going to Car shows with Allan and riding in the bed of his White Ford pickup.
Allan was always up for having fun. He was a good cook too! I am going to look you up when I get up there...

Allan was one of the best men I have ever known. I have so many memories of him and all the things he taught me when was younger. I can only hope to leave behind so many memories with as many people.

Allan always had a crazier story to tell and rev up his motorcycle by our house loved to hear him laugh will be missed.

I met Alan because my future wife Tracy lived there with her dad Clean Dean Shawler. He always had an open door for all kinds of people to come and visit. It was always "lets go to Alan's". Alan's place was the place to be. He was kind and generous. He hooked my parents up with some standards sized rims for there ford years ago. Always wiling to help those who asked. Words cant describe who much he will be missed. Every year he hosted our Father Daughter, Grand Daughter party's. God...

Allan was loved by so many of us "kids". He was an amazing man with a huge heart and so much love. I will always remember all the years growing up around you and all the knowledge you taught me! I love you dearly Allan. RIP my friend, love always, Michelle Yerman

President of our car club "Ancients" for many years and a tremendous number of good times. Always a Hot Rodder.
Rest in Peace my friend.

Like Al, Mary and Steve, we met Allan when we joined the Ancients. He was the glue that held the club together. We had fun, raucous fun. It was never boring. We lost touch when we moved away, but Allan was someone you never forgot over the years. Rest in peace.
