Not sure what to say?

I knew your Mom nearly my entire life, from the time I met Bruce in 1st grade until now.She always had a smile and treated me as one of her own, including a good scolding if needed..I always felt comfortable at your home...she will be greatly missed, but she is now where I'm sure she's happy, with your Dad and Brother and the three of them are watching over you all...God Bless.

I can't help but smile to think of the wonderful reunion "Aunt" Betty had with "Uncle" Byron playing happily on his organ with Bruce nearby -- such good memories! I will always remember Betty's warm hospitality and wonderful cooking! Love to all the Walker girls!

My sister Pat and brother Bill and I were very sad to hear about your Mom's passing. I have grown very fond of Betty Jane during the time she and my Mom Claire were room-mates at RCNH. I would take the two of them down to the snack bar often for cookies and hot chocolate (my mom would NOT let me go without her.) They were funny together. My mom asked about her last week. She said to one of the aids "where the is Betty Jane? They told her she was in the hospital. I had to tell her Monday...

I was sorry to hear about Betty Jane's passing. She was my Mothers room-mate at RCNH. They got along very well and I grew very fond of Betty as did the rest of my family. She always had a smile and something nice to say. My mom asked last week," where is Betty"? I told her she was in the hospital and they said she was coming back last Tuesday. I told mom Monday afternoon that Betty was not coming back and that she had passed. She looked sad and confused, but I do not think she grasped what I...

Dear Walker Family,
I was very saddened to hear about Betty's passing. Her warm smile and kind heart are forever etched in my memory of all our family's summer trips to your farm. Each of you, but especially your Mom, made our family truly feel that your home was our home, which helped to make every visit a memorable adventure! May God grant her eternal peace and the comfort she so richly deserves. Love always.

Betty was a sweet, loving neighbor to us for my entire childhood. She and Byron were like grandparents to us. I loved traveling through their amazing, yellow, farm house in Fremont. My thoughts are with the Walker family at this difficult time. Love, Molly (aka "Maggie" to Byron and Betty)

Betty has left such an impression on my life! I also have six children and have always put family first, like Betty! I have such happy memories of Betty and Byron and the children and the farm! Betty always had a big smile on her face and her kindness towards everyone was so soothing, and her kitchen always smelled sooo good! My prayers go out to the Walker family and heaven is surely getting one dynamite lady!

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. "Aunt" Betty was a beautiful woman with a heart of gold. I have so many great memories of visiting the farm with all the kids. But no one can cook (especially her pancakes) they way Betty could! She will live in our hearts forever. God bless you all.

Thoughts and prayers to the Walker family for their loss. I have so many memories of Betty and the farm we visited as kids. God bless !
