Casey John Toliver was born at Desert Samaritan Hospital on October 3, 1981 to John H. Toliver and Linda J. Alber. On November 25, 2016 Casey left this world. He is survived by his parents John and Linda; his step-father Jim Alber, step-mother Wanda Toliver, his sisters Jody (Josh Carter) and Jamie Toliver, step-sister Katrena Alber, step-brother Daniel Alber, (Marisol) his grandparents Freda & Mickey Toliver, his nieces Mayzee, Sparrow, Kyla and Savannah, his nephews Phoenix and Mikey, Aunt's & Uncles Vickie and Katy Toliver, Mark Toliver, Steve Bosch, & John Moakler; his cousins Michelle, John Ryan, and Jeffrey Moakler; Dillion Bosch, Tanya and Sophia Toliver and Lupita. He is preceded by his grandparents Charlotte and Harry Bosch and his cousin Christina Lynn Moakler.
Casey attended Grace Community School, Rhodes Jr. High & McClintock High School, class of 2000.
For over 15 years, Casey had worked in the local Tempe restaurant industry; where he found his passion for cooking and women. Casey was a dedicated chef at Pita Jungle for the majority of those years. Also worked at House of Tricks and Cornish Pasty. His dedication and kindness towards all others was the cornerstone of his life. He loved his family and friends above all else, his sensitivity and big heart will truly be missed.
The light of Casey's smile will always remain a comfort to those you knew and loved him. Casey was loved by all and will forever be in our hearts.
Visitation will be 10 AM Thursday, December 1, 2016 followed by an 11 AM service at Arizona Community Church, 9325 S. Rural Rd. Tempe Arizona, 85284
In lieu of flowers, the Toliver family will be accepting donations through a GoFundMe page that will provide scholarships and counseling for individuals who are suffering from trauma, addiction and depression.
