Not sure what to say?

Dear Barbara. The Legacy reminder of Charlie´s passing is a reminder of great times with a great friend for 3 years at HPU (then HPC) & our special relationship as brothers in Theta Chi. Among many other loving memories include celebrating you & Charlie in a Theta Chi serenade, having him as my Big Brother, & our friendship throughout the years including serving as a groomsman in your storybook wedding activities in Asheville. It was great seeing you when my family celebrated Lynne´s & my...

Recently, I spent a few days with Harry Lilly, Charlie's roommate his Jr year at High Point, then college and now University. It was my first year and Harry's last year. We became fast friends. The following year Charlie and I roomed together. Truly a remarkable time. Humor, intellectual adventures, real adventures, filled the years with a lifetime of memories. I still, as I am sure Harry does, remember with great fondness that very special time together. I still smile as I think back...

I was sad to hear about Charlie. My wife who is not an HPC graduate had mentioned at each reunion, how nice Charlie was and that he was one of her favorite brothers. He had an easy, unassuming manner that made everyone feel good being around him. I hope you are coping well.

Dear Barbara,
Certainly one of the most memorable years of my life was the one spent rooming with Charlie at High Point. We had many laughs and late night explorations of life. I must agree he is very likely directing one of the heavenly musical groups, bringing smiles and joy.
Our thoughts and prays remain with you and your family.

Dear Barbara and family:

My guess is that Charlie is leading a choir in song in a very good place. He will be missed and loved. Charlie and each of you are in our prayers.

Charlie will certainly entertain the crowds in Heaven. I can see him at the piano with a chorus of angels looking on. May he rest in peace and leave us all with wonderful memories.

Barbara,
So sorry to hear about Charlie. May the love of your family and friends be with you during this time.

Charlie, you are missed already. Thank you for the time, energy, and effort you poured into my very young career. I'm eternally grateful.

Dear Barbara,

Thoughts and prayers for you and family during this difficult time.

Charlie had a love for life, his family and the greater community.

Charlie made life better for everyone
he knew.
