Charles Stanton Wesley, 78, of Miami, Okla., passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, June 4th, 2022, after a sudden illness.
He was born in Sturgis, KY on January 8th, 1944 to his parents, Robert and Ida (Stanton) Wesley. After graduating high school, he attended college for a short time. He then entered into the workforce as a truck driver hauling propane.
He most enjoyed the rodeo scene. He was a talented tie down calf roper for many years. He continued to watch and attend rodeo events with his wife, Nilus (Brown) Wesley, who he married on April 7th, 2007. He was a member of the Bar None Cowboy Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Robert Wynn.
He is survived by his wife, Nilus, of the home; three children, Shane Wesley and wife Susan of Troy, MO, Rebel Wesley of Atlanta, GA, and Wynn Wesley and wife Dominque of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.
In keeping with his wishes, no formal services will be held. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas & Chenoweth Funeral Home in Welch

We will always remember Charlie from the time we spent together at Shenandoah Ranch He was always kind to me and my family I roped against him and he was a good competitor Our prayers and thoughts go out to the family R.I.P. Charlie You will be missed
