Many thanks to Shannon and the rest of the family for putting this Memorial online for Chris's friends and family to come by and spend time with. I know I can speak for a lot of his friends from Vanderbilt and Atlanta who still miss him today. We will be talking about him over some beers at our reunion this fall to remember all of the good times and the laughs we shared with Chris. Chris, you were one of my first friends and favorite playmates growing up in Southridge. Some of my fondest memories are those of camping trips to "Possum Kingdom". We were brave little "Indian Guides"! I love and miss you, my friend. "Nez Perce Forever!"

Chris was a very good friend to me during our years together in Boy Scouts. We spent lots of time laughing, telling stories, hiking the mountains of Philmont, NM, and debating the merits of various mid '80s pop songs. Once at the Worth Ranch mess hall, Chris brazenly dared me to eat a stomach-turning mix of jello, creamed core, crumbled cookie, and healthy dose of salt and pepper.
